Dance that connects you
to yourself and the divine.

“Faith on Pointe did something different for me than just taking a ballet class.
It took me deeper into my relationship with God.”

Classes and community that are joy-filled, welcoming, and accessible

.

Whether you’re here to learn how to make ballet a spiritual practice through our signature course “The Prayerful Plié” or you are looking for a ballet community where you feel truly welcome, Faith on Pointe offers an experience of ballet where this beautiful art form is for the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.

"Faith on Pointe enables me to take ballet in an environment that takes all of the anxiety out of going back into a ballet class.  By being on zoom, I still get the experience of dancing with others, without the pressure or [perceived] judgement from fellow students or the teacher.  I can just focus on what I'm doing, trying not to compare myself to 'how I used to be' and just enjoy coming back to dance in middle-age.  And honestly, all of this allows me - by and through Julie's guidance - to find God in dance, which I don't think I could do any other way."

What is Faith on Pointe?

I love ballet, and I love a good pun. Today I’m an Episcopal priest, but my first career was in arts education. Faith On Pointe is where ballet and spirituality intersect - where dance is not just for your body, but also for your heart, mind, and spirit.
